Caution

To guard
against electrical shock, always power off and unplug your computer
from the electrical outlet before opening the cover.
|

Before you start:
1. Make
sure the computer and any attached devices are powered off.
2. Disconnect
the computer from the power source.
3. Remove
the computer cover.
Clearing the password:
1. Find
the on-board configuration jumper.
2. Move
the configuration jumper to pins 2-3.
3. Plug
in the computer to the power source and power on the computer.
4. The
computer starts the setup program and the Maintenance menu is displayed.
5. Select Clear Passwords and
press Enter. A
confirm dialog window is displayed.
6. Select Yes and press Enter. The Maintenance
menu is displayed.
7. Press F10 to save the current
values and exit setup.
Restarting
the system:
1. Power
off the computer and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Move
the configuration jumper back to pins 1-2.
3. Replace
the cover.
4. Plug
in the computer to the power source and power on the computer.
