Off late, where ever you go, there is only topic and that is how Baahubali 2 is going to be. Directed by the genius Rajamouli, the magnum opus has released in over 8000 screens all over today. Let’s see whether the film reaches our expectations or not.</div>

As shown in the first part, Baahubali(Prabhas)is declared as the king of Mahishmati. As part of the kingdom’s ancestral ritual, the would-be king needs to visit the countryside to know what problems the people in his kingdom are facing. In this process, Baahubali visits a small kingdom called Kuntala and falls in love with its princess Devasena (Anushka).</div>

He woos Devasena with his charm and brings her to Mahishmati. But to his shock, Baahubali’s mother, Shivagami(Ramya Krishna) changes her decision suddenly and announces Bhallaladeva(Rana) as the king. Why did Shivagami suddenly announce Bhallaladeva as the king? What is the back story behind her decision? and why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? To know answers to these questions, you need to watch the film on the big screen.</div>

There are way too many things that impress you in Baahubali 2 but it is practically impossible to pen all of them down in this review. Let me start by talking about the gigantic scale of the film. It is like a never before and never again kind of scenario as Baahubali 2 is huge in every aspect. Every visual of the film is filled with surprises either in terms of graphics or the extravagant sets that have been put up. The costumes, drama showcased and performances are a first of its kind in Telugu films.</div>

The way he has induced a terrific conflict between the two brothers is the major asset of the film. Prabhas unleashes his beastly side in the second part and takes away your senses with his striking performance. From the first scene, his screen presence is top notch and the way he takes Bhallaladeva head on is just terrific.</div>

A lot was said about Anushka’s weight but boy she looks top class in this film. Right from her traditional costumes to her mature look, she has pulled off both the roles with ease. She looks slim and quite beautiful throughout the film. Coming to Rana, it would not be exaggerating to say that Rana will never get such a magnanimous role in the future. What makes the film even more fiery and ghastly is his fabulous villainous avatar. No other actor apart from him could have played this role of a lifetime and Rana has done full justice to it.</div>

Nassar and Satyaraj are excellent in their roles and especially Nasser, is the major highlight among the supporting cast. Ramya Krishna showcases superb emotions and brings a lot of depth to the film. The family emotions are yet another highlight of the film as they elevate the proceedings with a lot of depth. The fist fight between Rana and Prabhas is a feast to the eye.</div>

A number of audiences might get disappointed with the way Rajamouli has answered why Katappa killed Baahubali. Even though, the twist gels well with the script, it might not meet the expectations of many. Once the twist is revealed, the film becomes a bit predictable. The climax looks a bit rushed upon as things happen way too quickly.</div>

Tamanna is hardly seen in the film and only appears during the climax. There are certain areas in the film where pace gets slow and some unforced drama overtakes the proceedings. The romance between Prabhas and Anushka could have been edited out a bit to make things better.</div>

Baahubali 2 is one of the most technically efficient films made in India. If part one surprised you with its scale, then second part will leave you speechless with excellent visual effects and emotions. The kingdoms shown and sets created look top notch on screen. The entire team of Makuta should be appreciated for taking the film to another level with their VFX work.</div>

What takes Baahubali to its peak is the stunning background score of M M Keeravani. Even though his songs are not that effective as the first part, the way he elevates the proceedings with his score is impressive. Dialogues are decent and so were the lyrics. Costumes done for every character looks top class. The weaponry created and props used look quite lethal.</div>

Coming to the director Rajamouli, he has surely done India and the film fraternity proud with Baahubali. He has dreamt of something out of the box and has also succeeded in bringing life to India’s biggest motion picture. The way he has continued the story in the second part and made the drama even more intense is superb. There is more depth in the proceedings and every character has been given complete justification.</div>

Every frame of Baahubali is his creation and you can’t but salute to the genius of this filmmaker who will be the next big thing in Indian cinema. At times, you just wonder how did he perceive all this in his mind and execute it in such a convincing manner. Technicians like him are rare and Telugu folks should be proud that our own director has gone ahead and proved that nothing is impossible.</div>

Be it the heroic fights or the lavish war scenes, Rajamouli showcases some never before scenes in Indian film history. This film will be remembered and spoken about for years to come and break every possible record in the country. The performances, drama and the lavish scale look jaw dropping and make this film a never before experience for every movie lover. Finally, just ignore the simple story line and do yourself a favor by taking your entire family to watch this magnum opus called Baahubali as wonders like these only happen very rarely.</div>

The much awaited movie of the season has finally arrived. Vishal Fans have been eagerly waiting for his latest movie “Pooja” for a long time. Pooja has released today (Wednesday, October 22, 2014) as the Diwali feast to entertain all the Telugu audience. Amidst lot of expectations, the movie is released in almost 500 screens across the Telugu region.</div>

Vasu alias Srinivas (Vishal) is a money lender at a busy laden market. Due to some reasons, he departs from his family and lives alone. As time passes, he comes across a girl named Divya (Shruthi Haasan). First they become good friends and later fall in love with each other as their relationship blooms well. Vasu’s native village is Thotapalli. In his village, Singanna Patrudu (Mukesh Tiwari), who claims to be a well-known and sincere financier makes a lot of money secretly by assassinating people through contract murders. In this regard, a plan hatched by Singanna to murder a Police Officer (Satyaraj) gets disturbed by Vasu. The things get more worse when Vasu saves the police officer and his wife (Aishwarya) from the murder plan of Singanna. On the other hand, as a coincidence, Vasu also gets rivalry with Singanna through his family in the village. How all these characters get interwoven together ? How Vasu saves his family from Singanna forms the rest of the story that has to be watched on the screen itself.</div>

ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ సరదా సరదాగా గడిచిపోతుంది. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో 10 నిముషాలలో పూర్తయ్యే సినిమాను గంట పాటు సాగదీశారు. సినిమాను కమర్షియల్ గా తీర్చిదిద్దడం కోసం రఘుబాబు, కారుమంచి రఘు, ధనరాజ్ ల స్పెషల్ కామెడీ ట్రాక్స్ రాసుకున్నారు. వారి నటన, ఆ కామెడీ సన్నివేశాలు కొంచం కూడా ప్రేక్షకులను నవ్వించకపోగా, కథకు స్పీడ్ బ్రేకర్స్ లా అడ్డు తగిలాయి. ముఖ్యంగా సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో రఘుబాబు లవ్ గురుగా చేసిన లవ్ ట్రాక్బాగా సాగదీసిన ఫీలింగ్ కలగడంతో ఆడియన్స్ కి విసుగొస్తుంది. ఇలా కామెడీ విసుగు తెప్పించినా కథనం, హీరో హీరోయిన్ల మధ్య కెమిస్ట్రీ, లవ్ వర్కౌట్ అయ్యి ఆసక్తిగా ఉంటె ప్రేక్షకులు సినిమాకి కనెక్ట్ అవుతారు. కానీ అవి కూడా మిస్ అవ్వడంతో ఈ ప్రేమకథ ప్రేక్షకుల సహనానికి పరీక్షగా మారింది.</div>

‘ఐ యామ్ ఇన్ లవ్’ అంటూ ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకొచ్చిన ఈ సినిమా, ప్రేక్షకులలో ఎటువంటి లవ్ ఫీలింగ్ కలిగించలేదు. హీరో హీరోయిన్ల నటన పర్వాలేదు అనిపించినా, వారిద్దరి మధ్య కెమిస్ట్రీ మిస్ అయ్యింది. ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ సరదా సరదాగా గడిచిపోతుంది. చంద్రశేఖర్ రెడ్డి దర్శకత్వపరంగా విఫలం అవ్వడంతో సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో కీలకమైన సెంటిమెంట్, లవ్, ఎమోషనల్ సన్నివేశాలు వర్కౌట్ కాలేదు. దాంతో ట్విస్టులతో కూడిన మంచి కథ, సంగీతం బూడిదలో పోసిన పన్నీరు అయ్యాయి. ఇప్పటికే ఈ తరహా కధాంశంతో తెలుగులో చాలా సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. సో, కొత్త హీరో హీరోయిన్లతో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమాకు ఆదరణ ఎంతవరకు ఉంటుందో వేచి చూడాలి.</div>

Happy New Year is a heist thriller with a lot of naach gaana. Charlie (Shah Rukh Khan) wants to take revenge from Charan Grover (Jackie Shroff) because he betrayed Charlie's father (Anupam Kher), which landed him in jail and led to his death.</div>

Grover runs a safety lockers' business and now that he will be shielding an expensive diamond at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, Charlie will steal it. Coincidently the day the diamond is going to arrive there is a dance competition at the same hotel. Charlie forms a group of people who are good enough to steal but not good dancers. The team (Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah) now will take the help of a bar dancer Mohini (Deepika Padukone) to learn dancing and will eventually make their way to the vault.</div>

The film is predictable and yes sometimes that's fine. You know the hero will make his way to the locker eventually but the journey to that locker should be gripping and entertaining and sadly this one is full of cliches. There are very few portions which are actually funny. Most of it is just illogical drama making no sense. It's not that I walked into the cinema to watch Happy New Year and find logic but in the film things don't fall into place and there are petty jokes. For instance, the Korean Dance Team is called Chicken Chilly and some dance moves make fun of Boman Irani while he gets recurring fits, now that's just bizarre!</div>

Shah Rukh Khan has worked hard on his body for this film and he does a fine job of flaunting it. Extremely full of energy most of the times, he entertains. Deepika puts in sincere efforts but is limited because of the writing. Boman Irani plays a Parsi and is the funniest of the lot. Sonu Sood is brilliant. Abhishek Bachchan performs well too and so does Vivaan Shah.</div>

Vishal Shekhar's music is good for the film, some songs set the mood since dance performances are a part of the plot.</div>

Visually Happy New Year looks great but why wouldn't a film with a big banner, a talented filmmaker like Farah Khan, a good cast and great locations? That's never the challenge. The challenge is to entertain and Happy New Year falls short in entertaining, it's long length of over three hours being the weakest point.</div>

Ram Charan is just outstanding in the film. Right from his look to his performance, he has owned this film and has given his career best performance. He surprises everyone with his emotional acting capabilities and is just mind blowing during the last half an hour. Kajal Agarwal looks ultra glamours. You cannot explain of her timeless beauty, and the way she has performed. All the credit will go to Krishna Vamsi for showing her like never before. As always, Jayasudha gives a decent performance and nicely supports Prakash Raj.</div>
